Twylight: Wie schön blüht uns der Maien/Hares on the mountain
(Komposition/Text: traditionell/Chris Wood, Arrangement: Jørgen Lang)
If all you young girls were like hares on the mountain
We’d soon get our boots on and go out a-walking
If all you young girls were like swans on the water
We’d soon get our boots off an dive in thereafter
If all you young girls were like stars in the dark
We’d chase round the world to avoid the dawns spark.
But if all you young girls were like the sun in the morning
We’d sit bleary-eyed just to see the day dawning.
If all you young girls were like the rain in the sky
We’d stand out in T-Shirts and shun all things dry
If all you young girls girls were like the hot August sun
We’d sit with our eyescreens and get nothing done.
If all you young girls flew south like the swallow
There’d be nothing for it but to upstakes and follow.
But if all you young girls were like my own true lover
All you young men love them as I love her.
Besetzung:
- Jørgen Lang: Gesang, Gitarre, Low Whistle
- Johannes Mayr: Akkoreon
- Franziska Urton: Geige
